Who are we?
Georgia Clark is the author of The Bucket List and The Regulars (Emily Bestler Books/Simon & Schuster), and the YA novels She’s With The Band and Parched. A native Australian, she lives in Brooklyn with her girlfriend and a fridge full of cheese.
Donna Logue is a social worker and founder of The Naked Toolkit. Scotland born she lives in Sydney and shows no sign of losing her accent. She loves Australia’s laid-back vibe and works to remind women their life, stories and happiness matter.
Brooke Farmer is a marketing & events specialist, passionate about building connections and creating memorable experiences. An avid traveller, Brooke lived in London for a number of years and is keen to bring a little of London’s magic to Sydney – her hometown.
Dr Elaine Laforteza is the author of ‘The Somatechnics of Whiteness and Race: Colonialism and Mestiza Privilege’ (Routledge), has a PhD in Cultural Studies and teaches in the School of Communication in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and in the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation at the University of Technology, Sydney. She is also an emerging playwright with her first play, ‘Coming to Dinner’, featured in the 2018 Sydney Fringe Festival, produced by Peach Productions. Her play, ‘I have something to say’ will compete in the category of ‘Top 80 plays’ in the biggest short play festival in the world, Short and Sweet in 2019.
Karen Crombie is the founder of Exact Editing, where the aim is to make your work shine. Her unique experience and broad depth of knowledge give her keen insight into what will make words flow. As story editor, Karen provides the connection between the written word with her work editing books and the spoken word, as a public speaking coach.
