Ellie Rowlands

Founder, Elle Creative · Disability Advocate

Ellie Rowlands is the graphic designer behind Elle Creative, specialising in branding and wedding stationery for couples and small businesses across Australia.

Passionate about disability advocacy, accessibility and community connection, Ellie has recently stepped into public speaking, sharing honest stories shaped by community, creativity and lived experience.

Tyrolin Puxty

Author · Songwriter · Performer

Tyrolin Puxty is an award-winning Australian author, songwriter, performer, and founder of Stepping Out Studios Mudgee. A bestselling writer across sci-fi, fantasy, and visionary fiction.

Her work has been recognised by BuzzFeed, the Australian Songwriters Association, and multiple Australia Day Awards. She is passionate about storytelling, creativity, and helping others find their voice.

Janelle Lindsay OAM

Paralympic Gold Medallist · Athens 2004

Janelle Lindsay OAM is a Bathurst local who represented Australia in cycling at the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games.

As a pilot for visually impaired cyclist Lindy Hou OAM they won Gold and Bronze, and broke a World Record that stood for over 10 years.

Mary Croaker

Wiradjuri Woman · Community Leader

Mary Croaker is a proud Wiradjuri woman and passionate community leader dedicated to empowering First Nations people across regional NSW.

Through her work with VERTO's Indigenous programs, including Tidda Tradies and Aboriginal youth leadership initiatives, Mary creates pathways for connection, confidence, cultural pride and opportunity for the next generation to thrive.

Bernadette Wood

Gardener · Community Advocate

These days, Bernadette Wood works as a gardener, following a career specialising in education and wellbeing for women and young people.

She is passionate about projects that bring communities together through the arts and connection to nature, and improving access and wellbeing for all. Bern is President of The Friends of Centennial Park Bathurst, and in 2025 was awarded Greening Bathurst's prestigious Jo Ross Award. She is mother to 3 grown up boys and lives with her partner Pete and their two kelpies.

Donna Land

West Virginia · Via the World

Born and raised in Bluefield, West Virginia, Donna Land finished high school and went on to study fashion merchandising and General Culture.

A true sign of the times, the curriculum taught her how to cross her legs like a lady and the proper way to hold a cigarette. (The former's she's still working on.) Throughout her life, Donna has had professional adventures in retail, advertising, hospitality, child care, nursing, hypnosis and the role of house director of the ATO fraternity at the University of Florida. But ultimately — her favourite job was and is being a mom to her two kids, Brett and Summer.

2 hours, with time to mingle

Doors open 7:00 PM · Show runs 7:30–9:30 PM at KeyStone 1889, Bathurst. 20min interval – time to connect, if you feel like it.
