Lauren Devine is a family law solicitor in the Newcastle/Hunter Region, specialising in domestic and family violence and LGBTQIA+ family and federal law matters. A passionate LGBTQIA+ advocate, she serves as Advocacy Officer at Pride in Law, Co-Founded 'The Rainbow Roundtable', and is Resources Coordinator at Voices of Influence. Lauren is committed to advancing equity through education, advocacy, and grassroots community engagement.

Summer Land is an author and ghostwriter of 15 books, including The Last Victim with Tracy Hall, and most recently, Natalie Bassingthwaighte's memoir, Love Like This. Known for her sharp wit, intense curiosity and deeply empathetic nature, Summer is passionate about helping tell stories that inspire a more connected, compassionate and creative world.

Adjunct Professor Nicole Turner is a proud Kamilaroi woman with over 30 years' experience in Aboriginal health. She is CEO of the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council and Chairperson of Indigenous Allied Health Australia, serving on its board 10 years. A qualified nutritionist, she is Adjunct Professor of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Canberra. A mother of 4 and grandmother of 6, guided by family and community.

Fiona Wallace has lived in Newcastle since high school. She started writing short stories a year or two ago after she found some old diaries from student days during a big clean up. She finds inspiration out on Newcastle Harbour in a single scull rowing boat called Asparagus. She has three daughters and various four legged dependents who are collectively the joy of her life.

Sister Diana Santleben, or Sister Di, as she is known to all, has devoted herself to helping some of the Hunter’s most vulnerable. Sister Di helped found the Zara’s House Refugee Women and Children’s Centre in Jesmond. She's delighted to be known as the 'Queen of Summerhill Tip'.
