Choosing Hope: Stories of what got us through
Hope shows up in all kinds of ways: a kind word, a lucky break or even a funny mishap that reminds us things can turn around. Six storytellers across six generations share the unexpected, often hilarious, sometimes tender moments that carried them through a tricky time. These aren’t perfect endings but real stories of resilience, humour and the kind of hope that sneaks in when you least expect it.

What to expect
Six real women, six real stories
One storyteller from each decade — 20s through 70s+ — sharing unscripted personal stories on a single theme.
2 hours, with time to mingle
Doors open 6:30 PM · Show runs 7:00–9:00 PM at The Beresford, Surry Hills. 20min interval – time to connect, if you feel like it.
Laughs, tears and recognition
Not a panel. Not a lecture. Stories that make a room full of strangers feel connected.
For women of all ages
Our audiences range from 20s to 70s+. Come alone, come with friends — you’ll leave feeling both seen and connected.
